A Little Pick-Me-Up

This is my first attempt at a "tilt-shift" effect where you try to make an ordinary photo look like it's a photo of a model or miniature. The shallow depth-of-field tricks the eye into thinking that you are actually looking at something very small. Let me know if you're buying it! You may want to click this one for a larger view.

I saw this guy while driving past a farm in Muskoka. He let me get pretty close to him, but I was still wishing I had a little more zoom to my 28-135 lens!

Rocky Raccoon

I found this guy in a garbage bin in the early morning while shooting down by the lake. He was unable to get out, so I put a branch in there so he could climb out. To thank me, the little guy paused for a while in a tree and let me take a few shots of him.
