The Red Green Show

I went for a walk to take some pictues of the first signs of fall. I went into a little park near our house that I hadn't been into, but had been wanting to. The fence let me know that I had reached the end of the park!

In The Country

Here are some shots taken lately of the usual - stuff I see on my way to and from work. It's not just hay fields that I drive by, but that seems to be the only stuff I like to take pictures of! The photo with the bugs was taken in the same hay field as the tractor - I couldn't believe how the plants were covered in these tiny bugs. Anyone know what they are?

Tunnel Vision

I found a little park near our house with a little tunnel that passes under a road. Nothing special, but here is a picture from both ends of the tunnel.

Around Stratford Town

These pics were all taken the other day in Stratford, Ontario. It's a little town with a big love for Shakespeare. It's got a nice little "downtown" complete with a river and swans.

September Showers

Andrea and I spend a lot of our summer weekends up at my folk's cottage in Muskoka. The last weekend we were up there was feeling a lot more like Fall, which is too bad, but what can you do? I took these on the Labour Day weekend after a bit of rain.

Summer's My Season

Too bad it's almost over! These are all shallow depth-of-field shots taken on the same morning on my way to work (notice a pattern here?).

Back to the Farm

I went back to that piece of farm equipment on the side of the road to take a few more pictures of it.

Pig-headed

Andrea and I went to Ribfest in Burlington this past week. There are "barbeque artists" from all over the U.S. and Canada selling ribs and pulled-pork sandwiches. It's good stuff. This was taken at one of the booths - note the trophies in the background that have been won at other festivals like this.

These were taken in Spencer Smith Park in Burlington. The statue is part of a war memorial in the park.
