I found this guy in a garbage bin in the early morning while shooting down by the lake. He was unable to get out, so I put a branch in there so he could climb out. To thank me, the little guy paused for a while in a tree and let me take a few shots of him.

Wow, Doooooooode. You actually made me feel sympathy for a raccoon. The city brand of this speciman of rodentia are just nasty. But this little guy, there's hope for him. You can see it in his eyes - especially in the second pic, which is totally amazing. Never have I seen such an expression on a raccoon.
But what, no pics of hockey golfers? Golfy hockers?
:-)
Nice title mang! Love the 2nd pic

wow. you are rescue ranger! and look how grateful he was!! fantastic pics! all throughout your blog :)
What Keffy said. My eccentric aunt next door had a pet raccoon in the suburb of Tokyo, until it escaped and bit my mom; it went straight to the local zoo.
What I remember is Dad bravely defending Mom, throwing a brand new pair of red, opened toed, medium-heeled summer shoes I bought the previous day. If the beast persisted, he was going to throw the even lovelier white-and-blue pair next. The shoes weren't even out of the boxes, or the shopping bag!!
Nice!
Wow, great and well composed :)
Aww. How cute. You're a swell guy, saving the world, one racoon at a time!
Great shots.
