These pictures were taken last weekend in Toronto. It was wicked cold, which makes it a litte tougher to convince yourself to stand outside and take pictures. It's always lots of fun, though.
Not sure what building that is in the first one...but it reminds me of those really expensive rotating restaurants...
I'm actually not even sure if they're really expensive.....but I don't think McDonalds would ever go through all the trouble of making a rotating high rise restaurant to sell burgers for 99cents.
Thanks for stopping by my site.
I'm glad I can remind you of the old days from back at school.
I always end up staying up way too late, sleeping in way too late, and skipping classes just because I know I can get away with it.
Hope to hear from you soon, I'm checking out your band in a minute... If you wanted to hear my band you can stop by either myspace.com/beforesummerends or purevolume.com/beforesummerends
I've been walking around downtown London in the bitter cold in recent weeks. I think the temp makes you shoot carefully and quickly. I suspect the results wouldn't be as memorable if the temperature were warmer and I had the time to think things through more completely.
As is, you just shoot with your gut.
Great pictures: you've inspired me for my next trip to TO (maybe sooner than I think!)
Oh both shots are really nice. Love the colors in them. But the first one is my favorite. I love the lines and curves. Nice captures. Hope you didnt freeze to badly!!
Well, that's Canada, eh? I've spent many a day out there freezing my finger tips off saying "just one more shot". It's worth it though. Great job here, Joel!
