Frosty the Decorative Cabbage

These 2 shots were taken in front of my house this past week. The purple thing is some sort of cabbage that we have growing in a pot. There was a nice layer of frost and the sun was just coming up.

Squirrel

There isn't really a cool story to go along with these shots - I just saw a row of trees with the sun coming through them late in the day. This squirrel was checking me out while I was taking the pictures.

Finding Mount Nemo

There is a place called Mount Nemo Conservation Area near where I live. I had been meaning to go there for a while because I had heard that the view from the top of the escarpment was pretty amazing. Well, it was. I stitched some photos together to make the panorama at the top (click on it to see it a little larger). The other 2 shots are just of some interesting stuff I saw along the way.

Isaac Portraits

There have been a few people asking about how Isaac is doing, so I thought I would put up a few pictures of the little guy. This won't be turning into a "baby blog" so don't worry! Anyway, he's doing really well - Andrea and I are having so much fun with him.

Gnarly Tree, Dude!

I found this tree overhanging a little river up in Muskoka. It had some nice colours and texture.

Sunset, Mary Lake

I've posted a few sunset shots from Mary Lake before (Panarama-o-rama - July), but these are really recent and sunsets change with the seasons so I thought, why not?

Pumpkin

Here's a pumpkin I carved for Haloween. We had a good number of kids come by our place looking for candy - it was lots of fun seeing the costumes. My favourite was a kid dressed as a robot - he had a bunch of boxes on him that were spray-painted silver - he looked a little like Bender from Futurama.
